'Imagination will take you everywhere'

Bluebell Wood

The spring sunshine was well and truly shining on the Cotswolds as we ventured into the rolling landscape one Sunday afternoon. After meandering along twisting country lanes, passing bright lemon-coloured fields of Oilseed Rape and watching the lambs cheekily skip about like bundles of fluffy enthusiasm, we discovered a seasonal jewel. A wood brimming with bluebells. The deep lilac flowers almost seemed to float on the woodland floor; a frothy magic carpet majestically suspended in mid-air.  As we explored the wood, the dappled sunlight slid through the canopy of trees, highlighting the plethora of colours below and creating a contrast between the shadows and light. A blue-purple heaven. Nature at it’s most magical.
